Complete machinery interconnection, starting with a semi-product and ending with a finished machined piece, has been implemented for a production line with vertical lathes.
An extra-flexible solution, including NC-controlled machine loading mechanisms and adjustable rotary units, had to be developed for a universal range of brake disk parts for passenger cars.
In order to meet the confined space conditions in the manufacturing shop and to save hall area costs, workpiece feeding and distribution by means of elevators and elevated lines have been implemented.
