KBH developed a straightening line with two straightening machines for transmission parts and drive shafts of a 5-speed transmission exactly according to the requirements of a well-known car manufacturer. The task consisted in detail of ensuring the transport, cleaning of the centring, straightening and sorting out of the N.i.O. workpieces after 100% measurement at 10 measuring points.
The straightening process is controlled and evaluated via a PC (Windows). This controls the entire process in the industry standard via a self-learning software and simultaneously creates a statistical evaluation.

A total of five of these straightening lines were delivered to the car manufacturer over a period of 10 years. The last two straightening lines are already equipped with a contactless laser measurement system.
This not only measures smooth diameters, serrations and folds, but also offers a decisive cost advantage due to minimal operating costs and a very low conversion effort.
