This high-bay storage system, operated by a Siemens control system, offers a storage capacity for 400 parts, with a cycle time for infeed and outfeed of max. 45 seconds. Due to the round tower storage design, a maximum utilisation of the storage capacity could be achieved on a small storage area.
Storage space is expensive and is therefore very important in industrial planning in order to save costs and space. With our innovative tower storage system, we were able to implement a compact storage solution for the intermediate storage of workpieces and semi-finished products for a well-known car manufacturer.
The workpieces are deposited via a centrally rotating delivery arm. A code reading system enabled the control system to recognise each workpiece individually.

Depending on requirements and production flow, the KBH vertical storage system can be individually adapted to the needs of our customers in terms of height and vertical workpiece storage.
Due to the solid construction of the workpiece storage, it is also possible to accommodate larger workpieces that are to be buffered during production.
